I received an early check-in and a room upgrade. The hotel transfer was professional! The driver Carina was helpful! The location is excellent. It's very easy to get to main cultural attractions within a short walk.
The rooms are somewhat small.

the reception staff did not seem willing to help. it felt as though every request was a favor. the room i got were too small. moving around the room meant bumping into a lamp or chair.

the staff were very attentive. they seemed to anticipate my needs. i felt well-cared for . the room was also surprisingly quiet, considering the central location. i really appreciated this detail after long days.
I noticed the shower pressure fluctuated slightly. It made temperature control a little tricky.

I appreciated the hotel's prime location between Barrio Alto, Alfama, and Rua Augusta. The reception staff were nice and helpful. I received an upgrade to a suite on the third floor that provided a fine view of Figueira Square. A complimentary welcome drink and discount on lounge food were unexpected.
I found that the sound isolation from neighboring rooms could be improved.
