a mixed experience

small roomunfulfilled request
The room was not great. it was a beautiful king room, but its size felt restricted. the staff also didn't handle my request about the minibar properly. They messed it up. it was frustrating because i asked specifically that they dont restock it, yet they still filled it up. this oversight caused some problems .

Romantic Getaway in a Historical Gem

central locationspecial surprisecomfortable bedslimited hanging space
The central location allowed easy walks to main attractions. The staff arranged balloons, wine and cake to celebrate my partner's 30th birthday. The provided surprise. The beds were large and comfortable.
I found the absence of drawers in the room inconvenient. There was only limited hanging space. It was not sufficient for dresses or trousers. This setup felt impractical for a longer stay.

The hotel is centrally located. This allows convenient walking access to many city attractions and points of interest (everything is within easy reach!).

The location was fantastic! It was very central with many amenities nearby. The staff were cute. The hotel decor is beautiful. It really stood out.
The front desk manager had poor customer service skills. I felt somewhat insulted. The hotel claimed my toiletries bag was not found. My medications were in it, so that was concerning. Their attitude showed zero concern!

Excellent Hotel with Prime Location

spacious roombuttery soft sheetswide variety
The king grand room was spacious. It was very clean, AND the sheets are buttery soft. Every amenity expected from a five-star hotel was provided, such as a thick terry robe and slippers. The dining room is attractive, breakfast had sliced fruit, meats, cheeses, yogurt, granola, breads, tarts, cakes, and juices.
Service
10/10
The staff members are all kind and sincerely desired to help. They can flip between Portuguese, English, French, and spanish. They do so willingly because they want to communicate with the guests.
Location
9/10
This hotel was perfect location for a first-time visit. It is within a few minutes to the train, metro, and busses, and a zillion restaurants and shops. Although it is located centrally, you don't hear the street noises. It IS quiet.
