sake flights helpful staff great location

The hotel provides complimentary sake flights and beer. I really appreciated that. The staff helped us send our luggage to our next destination. The location made exploring very easy.

The kettle was difficult to fill because the tap was too low.

Acceptable Stay with Noticeable Issues

the onsen was a nice amenity, though somewhat sterile in appearance.

I found the family room rather small despite its two-story layout. we had limited space for our belongings, forcing us to keep everything on the floor. There were not enough hooks.

Excellent Stay Centrally Located

friendly staff local dining modern room traditional vibe

The hotel has a great location in the town center. The streets outside were magical. The staff was super friendly, plus, they gave good recommendations for local dining. I enjoyed the modern room, which also featured a traditional vibe. The bathroom was well presented.

The hotel can get noisy. You might hear other guests in the corridor. Sometimes, they speak loudly, and you can hear everything from your room. This impacted my sleep .

The hotel has an excellent location. It sits right in the town center on narrow, old streets, with boutiques nearby. This makes exploring the area quite easy. The area allows convenient access to many attractions.

helpful staff complimentary drinks relaxing atmosphere thin walls paper cups small bathroom

i found the staff very helpful. they assisted me with directions and local recommendations. the hotel provided complimentary drinks in the evenings. this was a nice touch and a good opportunity to relax.

the walls seemed thin, i could hear noise from neighboring rooms. paper cups were in the room, instead of reusable ones. i thought that was odd given the hotel's eco-friendly approach! the bathroom was quite small, a bit inconvenient.

mixed feelings about this stay.

unfresh breakfast transactional staff

the hotel's location was quite convenient.

The breakfast wasn't great. It seemed like a third party supplied it since there didn't appear to be a kitchen. both the asian and western breakfast sets tasted like they weren't fresh. plus, some staff members were more helpful than others. It mostly reminded me of a business transaction.
