i had an upgrade to the star residences and enjoyed my stay. the cleanliness was excellent with high-quality fluffy, soft towels, and a very comfortable bed. the staff were cute and helpful from arrival through to checkout. it is a perfect location to catch a show or use the light rail to explore the cbd.

i noted in my special request that i was celebrating my anniversary, i didn't receive anything in the room upon arrival. it was disappointing as cheaper hotels make more of an effort.

the valet team was accommodating and ensured everything went smoothly leading up to my wedding day. the reception staff were polite and helpful, always going out of their way to assist with any requests or inquiries, therefore i have no complaints.

The room was nice sized with modern decor and auto blackout blinds. It was very quiet. there are big screen tvs in every room, which i appreciate, the bathrooms contain two rain showers. the bed was also very comfortable.

a daily food or drink credit offers value, though restricted to selected restaurants or room service only. the food i ordered with the credit was of acceptable quality and tasted perfectly fine, so i was content.

the location provides easy access to the city, which i find desirable. access to transportation, such as the light rail, is convenient. it is a desirable base for exploring the surrounding areas.
