Really good stay at a family-run inn
well-stocked bar friendly staff grassy area
The breakfast room provided ample space with a well-stocked bar area (i especially liked the juice selection). A waiter offered teas, coffees, and cooked breakfasts. The staff were friendly and always helpful. The room was suitably sized and had a grassy area nearby for my dogs.
The selection of drinks was small, and the ginger beer was out of date, disappointing.
Location
9/10
The inn is situated in a lovely countryside location. On-site parking is available for all guests. The grounds included a green lane near the site, ideal for dog walks.
Facilities
9/10
The rooms have large, clean spaces that provide comfort and warmth. Each room includes its own entrance. Thick walls ensure peace and quiet .
Dining
9/10
The inn features a gorgeous pub atmosphere. The food served at the pub has excellent quality. The value for the breakfast was very good.

non-functional fan excessive noise
The room assigned to me was not satisfactory. the bathroom lacked adequate ventilation. The fan was non-functional. noise from the children playing outside was excessive and distracting. these factors detracted from what should have been a quiet stay.
