this hotel is lovely. the staff were so kind and attentive to all our needs. the room was very clean and well-kept. the location allows easy access to many local attractions.

i found that the on-site bar was quite expensive, a slight inconvenience.

we stayed in a beautiful king room. it was very clean. the staff was attentive and friendly. the grounds were beautiful to walk around.

the dinner menu was very seafood heavy. there were few options without shellfish. air conditioning in the rooms would be a nice addition.

long corridor room temperature

The room was quite a walk down a VERY long corridor. I found myself trekking back from the restaurant in complete darkness, relying solely on faint path lights. This walk involved going downhill and then traversing a significant distance along the corridor. It was a bit unsettling. The room itself was cold, with heating only available in the bathroom. I informed the staff about my concerns, and they responded with sympathy.

I enjoyed the hotel grounds. The scenery was very nice. Staff members were friendly and helpful. I appreciated the breakfast choices. The room included complimentary gluten free biscuits. This was useful, as I have dietary restrictions. I liked the bar area. A dog bowl with sausage even was for my dog.

slow service unmet expectations

the hotel really didn't meet my expectations. i was left feeling underwhelmed by the service. it was hard to find staff when i needed assistance. the slow service in the restaurant was also frustrating. it really affected my stay.

The grounds looked beautiful. Staff members were friendly.

The service charge added to my bill felt excessive. It was never mentioned ahead of time. An Americano at nearly £5 and tea also at almost £5 became exorbitant after the service charge. It makes me feel taken advantage of as a guest.
