I enjoyed the hotel grounds. The scenery was very nice. Staff members were friendly and helpful. I appreciated the breakfast choices. The room included complimentary gluten free biscuits. This was useful, as I have dietary restrictions. I liked the bar area. A dog bowl with sausage even looked for my dog.

the hotel really didn't meet my expectations. i was left feeling underwhelmed by the service. it was hard to find staff when i needed assistance. the slow service in the restaurant was also frustrating. it really affected my stay.

The grounds looked beautiful. Staff members were friendly.

The service charge added to my bill felt excessive. It was never mentioned ahead of time. An Americano at nearly £5 and tea also at almost £5 became exorbitant after the service charge. It makes me feel taken advantage of as a guest.
