Birthday Dinner Celebration

duck dishchocolate tortekettle plug
My main duck dish was perfect! The fish and chips and burger were equally enjoyed by my daughters. The desserts are show stoppers! The popcorn parfait reached another level. The soufflé was a real 'wow' moment, and the chocolate torte was amazing.
Payment happened on arrival and included a refund. This made the welcome strange. Tea and coffee were in the wardrobe. The kettle plug was bedside and the bin opposite so there was too much boiling kettle movement and waste movement.

Cozy Stay near Cambridge

superking size bedincluded breakfastthatched cottagescozy fireplace
The room had a superking size bed that was comfortable. Breakfast was included. This was served in the pub. The village had thatched cottages with cute detailing on the roof, worth wandering to see. The pub had a cozy fireplace.
The building felt unloved! though it had an attractive thatched historic building, it did require some maintenance.
Rooms
8/10
The rooms were large and clean. They provided ample space. The bed was HUGE! and I found it very comfortable. The bathroom included complimentary toiletries, I found these convenient.
Service
9/10
The staff were friendly. They provided excellent service. The breakfast menu offered a good variety of choices, including a full English breakfast. The bar area was cozy and cute. I spent quite a bit of time here.
