a perfect romantic escape

i found the staff so kind and attentive. the room was gorgeous with a great shower. breakfast was yummy too!!!
i found the staircase nerve-wracking, especially with my small suitcase. the duvet was thin, and i was so cold i had to double it over to sleep. it needs to be cosier.

the area has picturesque countryside with a fairytale village. there is also a local castle nearby for visits. the setting creates a romantic atmosphere.

the room had fab facilities, including a coffee machine and a kettle. there was also a tv upstairs and downstairs along with a stereo. a patio offered table and chairs overlooking the beautiful beer garden.

the evening meal was delicious and included local wine. the breakfast was wonderful. i found the restaurant to be of excellent quality.

the location offered peaceful strolls and a relaxing atmosphere. the garden was also a plus. the restaurant had good food.
The bedroom sat upstairs. The bathroom downstairs proved slightly inconvenient, requiring use of a narrow spiral staircase.

Great Stay with minor Inconvenience

The room had great facilities. It offered a coffee machine and a kettle. There were TVs both upstairs and downstairs. a stereo system for entertainment. The shower was gorgeous. I found it very refreshing after a long day. I also enjoyed having drinks on the patio. Local wine was delicious.
I found that it was not clear enough that the bed is on a different floor to the bathroom. The narrow, polished wood spiral staircase between them is important to know (especially for older people). The duvet was unusually thin, it wasn't enough to keep me warm during the night.

amazing showerfull size hair dryer
the scotney apartment had all the facilities i needed. the shower was amazing!!! it also had an ironing board and a full size hair dryer.
The staircase turned the wrong way. Its corners were at head height and quite dangerous.
