the aesthetic is LOVELY and location is nice and quiet.

i booked through hilton.com AS I am a hilton diamond member. i'm not sure if this hotel is aware of the hilton honors program even though it is part of hilton SLH. we arrived at 130pm and asked for an early check in. was told the room was being cleaned but almost done, so we had lunch at the lobby restaurant and then checked with the front desk around 230pm and was told the room was still not ready.

I participated to the Sushi Chef class. Tony showed easy steps with quality materials. Then, I ate my creations alongside sparkling sake. The hotel is clean, hallways are dark, yet the room shines and felt comfy. I missed the live music at the restaurant, that sounded awesome.

The minibar bill at checkout was wrong. They said the snacks weren't free. The concierge had told me different.

The room included a speaker and clock, which i found very useful. breakfast had a great selection of food. reception staff, henry and mayu, offered water and cookies when i was in the lobby late at night. I did not even need to ask for that.
