the staff were polite and smiley. the food at dinner and breakfast was excellent. i will definitely be looking to book again as this was a good half-way stop for a long work trip to and from scotland.
there was no air con in the bedroom.

The bed was very comfortable. The restaurant was excellent. I would highly recommend it. The free car parking on site was a great help. The jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna were nice.

The breakfast met my expectations. It had a decent variety.
it was quite inconvenient lugging my suitcase up the stairs. the room's cleanliness was also a problem as there was a noticeable layer of dust on the furniture. the net curtains had mold.

i found the building beautifully decorated and the bed supremely comfortable. the facilities exceeded my expectations. both the evening meal and breakfast were top notch. i noticed the service throughout my stay was consistently good, a real plus.
i observed some slight signs of wear in the room's decor but i understand the hotel is undergoing refurbishment.

dated roommould stain
The hotel claimed to be four stars, but i'm not sure it deserves that rating. the room was dated and in need of redecorating! there was no guest information folder. So i couldn't check about room service. there was also no phone in the room, a shame, as i wanted to complain about noisy neighbors at 1am. the overhead shower head had mould, and the duvet cover had a small stain. it should be cleaner!
