i stayed in a superior double room the room was spacious and very clean the bathroom had two sinks and a rainfall shower the bed was large and very comfortable i slept soundly each night of my stay it was amazing. breakfast had homemade granola and local honey the cooked option was lovely too the staff were friendly and accommodating every morning i enjoyed the really good breakfast.
the eclectic decor verges on being overboard i noticed this in the bar area.

i found the staff quite helpful they promptly addressed all my questions and requests i really enjoyed the fresh cookies in the room upon arrival it was a lovely touch the evening meals were fantastic especially the sunday roast was excellent in flavour and quality i thought the breakfast was delicious with much choice.
my room had a velux window at height i wasn't able to adjust the blind and the full moon lit the room this made sleeping difficult

the inn's location offers a tranquil escape to nature it is situated in a peaceful valley i noticed that the hotel has very beautiful surroundings it feels very secluded.

a decent stay
scenic walkfriendly staffcramped roommain light
the location was beautiful i took some scenic walks nearby. the restaurant was excellent i really liked that. i also found the staff friendly and helpful.
room 11 felt cramped the room was stuffy. the main light came from a skylight which lit the room from dawn i wasn't happy.
