a Valentine's dream
rose petalsromantic bedchampagne surprise
this was a Valentine's night never to be forgotten. rose petals were on the bed linen, so romantic. chocolates, and champagne were in our room, a great surprise. the dining experience included heart-shaped table candles too, it was all lovely.

The building looked grand, but my room felt neglected. The bathroom fan didn't work, so it got very steamy after a shower. Condensation dripped from the ceiling. the bed was quite firm, and I could feel the springs a bit. I requested a softer pillow, but the replacement wasn't much better, resulting in a poor night's sleep! The housekeeping staff knocked early too.

The manor's architecture was BEAUTIFUL. I liked the historical details. The gardens had a wonderful design and were well maintained. The breakfast provided many options. It was a great start to my day.
the room lacked a mini fridge, which would HAVE been useful for storing drinks.

the room was spacious and very clean. i appreciated the availability of air conditioning to maintain a comfortable temperature and the king size bed offering ample space to relax.

The staff WAs very kind. They showed courteous behavior and were well-mannered at ALL times. I found the team to be efficient and they resolved issues quickly and effectively. their attention added value.

peeling paintwallpaper stains
Our room was far from ideal. There were noticeable stains on the wallpaper. The peeling paint was quite distracting and maintenance really need attention.

a romantic getaway

i REALLY enjoyed the large, modern room, it had an interesting bathroom. free charging was a bonus for my hybrid car. staff members were very pleasant and always ready to help, their attentiveness certainly elevated our experience.
the overall state of the hotel seemed very poor and in NEED of a major upgrade. some areas looked run down. i think some investment would greatly improve the hotel appearance.

the room was large and quiet with thick curtains creating a dark space, great for sleeping. an ironing board was available along with a hairdryer. DARK walls gave the place a dull feeling.

the building is magnificent and its location is great for exploring the area. the hotel is a thirty minute walk uphill from the station. it is set amongst beautiful GREEN and luscious gardens.

the facility is well kept and offers a lovely environment. guests can WALK around the golf course giving way to the golfers. an unused bar area might be a gem if opened for post dinner drinks.

the buffet breakfast offers many healthy choices. vegan sausages were AVAILABLE upon request. the restaurant offers high quality food that is freshly prepared and served by pleasant staff.
