good stay
warm welcome champagne glass lemon cake
my experience began well from arrival. i received a warm welcome and a glass of champagne upon arrival. the lemon drizzle cake in the room was notably good and a treat to have. the staff's attentiveness.
i noticed a small issue during dinner service. my dessert order was incorrect and required correction. this disrupted the flow of the meal slightly though it was resolved.

the hotel gardens feature bronze figures strategically placed throughout the grounds. an orchard produces fruit and provides a scenic walking area. there is also a japanese garden to explore for a tranquil experience.

staff greeted me with warmth and hospitality upon arrival. i was offered a choice of champagne or english sparkling wine. the staff was friendly and eager to ensure the best possible experience.

Acceptable Stay. Issues with Service and Attention to Detail
On arrival, our kettle lacked water. Maintenance fixed this, but i expect perfection. we arrived for pre-booked dinners, but staff said we were not booked. the issue was resolved, but the incident caused discomfort.

fine grounds lemon cake
The hotel grounds were fine. the fresh lemon drizzle cake was the best i have tasted. I felt very spoilt. we joined the bath salts making session with the head house keeper. we used herbs and flowers from the garden.
the room lacked a full-length mirror.
