the hotel staff was very attentive and courteous. breakfast included plenty of choice. i also appreciated the speedy and cute check-in at castell deudreuth. electric vehicles transported me and my bags to my room.
My room, though clean, felt a bit dated. I noticed cracked tiles on the bathroom floor. the shower was firmly attached to the wall inside a high bath, awkward to use. i definitely wouldn't say it was the best experience

the hotel's location is a real plus. i could wander through the village after hours, a benefit of staying there. my room was a hotel double or twin room and overlooked the estuary and pool. breakfast included both buffet options and made-to-order items.
the bathroom grout had black dirt on the floor and walls. i think it may have been mold. i accidentally touched the bath tap when i was getting out and i suffered a skin burn. staff did not ask how my stay was upon checkout, they just took the key.

The staff were friendly. I found them very helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble. I appreciated the spacious rooms and the clean modern bathroom. Breakfast and evening meals provided excellent quality with a great choice of wines.
The hotel has decided to ban guest cars in the village. The promised buggy service was irregular. The drivers displayed an attitude that I was lucky to stay there, which I did not appreciate.

the village room was perfect for our stay the bridge house offered excellent views i could look at for hours the scenery around the place was magical i enjoyed exploring the charming grounds during our romantic nights there.
i noticed a small stain on the carpet near the bed that could use a cleaning
