The room was clean and well appointed! the river view from the room was beautiful though the location was a bit out of town. This made it quiet and peaceful. the staff were so helpful and friendly especially the staff in the restaurant.
the hotel lacked convenient access to shops or restaurants. the breakfast setup wasn't great! there was often a queue, and the coffee machine was constantly breaking down. there was a limited food choice and i noticed empty food pots.

the hotel's location right by the douro river worked for me. i enjoyed the views, even on cloudy days (it rained quite a bit ). the breakfast buffet had a decent variety of options, including fresh fruit and pastries (i liked the croissants). the staff at reception helped me book a river cruise, it was a great experience.
the gym was quite small and lacked equipment, i only saw two treadmills. the indoor pool felt cold, so i did not really relax.

Excellent Riverfront Stay!

I found the breakfast excellent! with a wide selection. I especially liked that I could eat outside. The location suited my needs well, as it was just outside Porto. The hotel is neat, beautiful, and the pool is great.
I found the cleanliness was not up to par. I noticed dirty laundry from previous guests remained in my room. There was also an ant infestation in the bathroom.

Excellent riverside stay

The staff provided a friendly welcome on arrival. The room featured a river view from the balcony. I enjoyed the pool area and also noticed towels were regularly replaced. One morning I saw a bird of prey and took photos with its handler.
The hotel restaurant had only a buffet option, and I needed to find an alternative restaurant.

the staff were friendly and helpful from arrival through checkout. our room was magnificent, a double or twin room river view, offering a lovely river view from the balcony. breakfast had a wide menu to suit everyone. the pool area was very good, with towels regularly replaced.

Really good Riverside Retreat

The hotel is designed like a ship. It sits beautifully on the river offering a balcony perfect for enjoying the scenic view. The restaurant features excellent breakfast and dinner buffets. I found many amazing architectural features both inside and outside. The infinity pool and sun loungers are very pleasing.
The location isn't very central and requires a walk to the city center.

Our room had a river view. It seemed like a cruise ship cabin, offering an excellent perspective of the Douro. The room included comfortable beds and modern decor. We found the provided amenities high quality.

The hotel features a rooftop pool with great views of the Douro River. An indoor swimming pool is also available . I noticed the outdoor gym equipment and a path next to the hotel leading to a children's playground.

The breakfast buffet included an omelette station that offered various options such as mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, and salmon. Aroma Restaurant had salmon dishes and pumpkin ravioli on the menu (I especially enjoyed the ravioli!). I also appreciated the option of ordering an omelette.

The staff was friendly and efficient . Hugo made substitutions for our dishes and was very accommodating during our meal. The staff assisted with extra requests.
