Lovely Hotel with Excellent Food

comfortable bed extra pillows dairy alternatives
I found the staff very helpful. The bed was very comfortable, and extra pillows were provided. I had breakfast for three mornings, two dinners, and a Sunday lunch, all excellent. I have a dairy intolerance, so alternatives were available without fuss.. The quality of the food was excellent, and the breakfast food was very good. The cooked food was just right.
I was a little disappointed because the leisure facilities seemed unclean. Some places were broken. The shower did not drain properly.

a pleasant stay overall

well-kept grounds clean room helpful staff faulty light black tape understaffed restaurant
i found the grounds to be well kept and beautiful. the room was nice, clean, and included a good view. the staff made the hotel stand out, everyone was helpful and friendly (i felt very welcomed).
i noticed one of the ceiling lights was out over the basin in the room. black tape covered the blue light in the shower, a bit odd. the restaurant seemed understaffed and busy during peak hours.

mixed feelings about my stay

mould stain unpleasant bedding
the staff were friendly enough upon arrival.
I was disappointed by the room i received. The bathroom floor had a noticeable mould stain. there was also a lack of basic amenities, such as a cup for toothbrushes. the bedding smelled unpleasant, and the absence of a coffee machine was surprising given the price.

modern room inviting bar professional staff
the room was modern and spacious. i found the bar area inviting, offering a good selection on the evening menu. i appreciated the quality and presentation of the food plus the staff were professional.
one of the ceiling lights was out over the basin and the blue light in the shower was taped over with black tape.
