well appointed roomhard bedresetting thermostat

the room was very clean and well appointed (i especially liked the decor).

the bed was unfortunately not comfortable, it felt hard. the room also became far too hot, and adjusting the heating proved difficult. i couldn't seem to manually turn off the radiators and the thermostats kept resetting themselves.

Excellent Stay Near Town Center

The room was spacious and clean with modern furniture. I found the self check-in kiosk in the lobby simple to use. Free car parking was easy and secure (a big plus for me). I especially liked the proximity to the town center. It was a short walk.

I did notice the TV volume was set at a maximum of 7, making it hard to hear from the bed.

The location was awesome. Shops, a supermarket, and the abby were all nearby. the building looked beautiful, and i found both my room and the bathroom were spacious. i really liked how clean everything was, too. the check-in experience, with all its automation, provided a cool contrast with the historic building.

I found there weren't staff on hand. A phone for help would be useful.

the beautiful double room had nice furnishings and a tidy space. it had shampoo and conditioner provided in the bathroom. the room also had a good setup with enough space for luggage.

this hotel sits in a central spot near the town center, that i enjoyed. i easily walked to a supermarket and Abbey Meadows. the River thames isn't far either, it is great.

self check-in worked well and was pretty quick. i found communication was prompt. everyone i interacted with was both helpful and personable, i liked it.
