welcome drink daily happy hour

The hotel offered a welcome drink upon arrival, which i found thoughtful. i also enjoyed the daily happy hour. It included finger foods and drinks. the service was flawless.

the location was not completely central. it required about a thirty-minute walk to the main sights, though it was close to the train station

ideal location short walk tourist area exemplary service

the location was ideal. it was a short walk from the train station (very convenient with luggage). we appreciated being slightly removed from the main tourist areas. the breakfast included many options (especially the fresh fruit!). the staff provided exemplary service from arrival to departure.

the canal view from our room was partially obstructed by a nearby building.

mixed feelings about my stay

weak air conditioning stale pastries

The air conditioning in my double or twin room garden view barely worked. It struggled to cool the space. i reported it, but maintenance only offered a temporary fix that didn't last. the breakfast buffet was repetitive, and the pastries tasted stale. It reminded me of the same items were presented day after day. the lift was also surprisingly small and slow and it was an inconvenient elevator.

mixed experience at this hotel

single room checkout process

upon arrival, i learned i had supposedly booked a single room. the checkout process was worse. the lady at the desk insisted i pay extra and showed no flexibility. it really soured my impression after an otherwise acceptable stay.

excellent stay close to transport

pillow options quality selection easy train ride

i found the beds had pillow options. the breakfast was excellent and provided a quality selection. i liked that the hotel is near the shuttle to the airport and train station. the train ride to lake garda and verona was an easy hour and a half.

i found that i could not swap the rain shower to the handset without a high handle. if you're under 5ft 6, you cannot reach it.

the staff helped with my wife's food allergies, they brought her special gluten free breads and non-dairy oat milk. the front desk arranged for us to have a breakfast to-go bag for our early flight.

A Romantic Escape

friendly staff lovely garden welcome drink convenient location

I found the staff friendly and helpful. They quickly organized transport to the airport, easing my departure. The welcome drink, served in a lovely garden, added a special touch to my arrival. Each afternoon, cicchetti was with the time for gentle chats with other guests, before dinner. The neighborhood features many shops and restaurants. I found it a convenient location.

wow! totally was really good!

attentive staff amazing eggs canal view dream room

the staff was super attentive. they remembered my birthday! breakfast included fresh tortes, fruit, and amazing eggs. the hotel packed to-go breakfast bags since i had an early flight! the room overlooked the canal, a total dream!

honestly, i could hear everything going on in the hallway with other guests walking by! it's still overall very quiet though!
