average stay, some noise issues

thin wallslow pressure
the noise levels were more than i expected. i could hear conversations from the next room, it was really clear. also, the shower pressure was quite low, it did make it difficult to rinse properly. i think the hotel needs a little more soundproofing and to check the water system.

generally positive stay

helpful staffroom designstylish roompoor soundproofingadjacent roomearly tv
i found the staff personable, helpful, and friendly. they asked about needs, told me about promotions, the surrounding area, and relevant facilities. the room's design was fantastic. it was stylish and comfy, as was the downstairs lounge (.. ) the staff checked if i needed anything.
the sound proofing was not ideal, i heard noises from the adjacent room quite easily. i was woken two days by the television switched on at 5.50am and left on for hours. this was disruptive to sleep quality.

Acceptable Stay, But Issues Existed

poor soundproofingearly television
The hotel did not provide adequate soundproofing. I could easily hear noises from the adjacent room. On two consecutive days, the television switched on at 5:50 am and remained on for hours. This disturbed my sleep considerably and was a serious issue.

EXCELLENT stay and superb service!

soft drinkshelpful staffsea viewpoor soundproofing
I booked a superior suite sea view. It had complimentary soft drinks and snacks. These items were restocked daily, which i found very handy. The staff gave me a lift to visit a friend further down the promenade. That was MOST helpful.
The sound proofing could be better as i heard noises from the adjacent room. It was very annoying.
Facilities
9/10
The hotel has a lovely living room area near the front desk. This space is staffed for after-dinner drinks. Brochures, timetables, and maps were available at the front desk, which i found helpful. I noticed that wet bar snacks were free, a very nice touch.

The hotel includes a restaurant. The restaurant is open to the public for evening meals. Breakfast had a vast range of items. It had both continental and cooked options.
Location
