The food was AMAZING!!! Breakfasts offered a large variety. The hotel even arranged a guided walk, it was VERY thoughtful. The staff was helpful and accommodating.
The room door had a slight gap at the bottom.

the hotel has a good amount of parking. it is a nice quirky building with good food. the staff is a great team. i appreciated the super clean room and fresh breakfast.
i found no soap at the sink or in the shower. both had empty dispensers. i noticed a leak in the p-trap. it meant an alarming pool of water gathered on the floor while i was shaving.

The shower lacked hot water. I suspect the thermostat was faulty. cobwebs covered the room, and the stairs had many dead bluebottles. the room needed a deep clean. there was also no coffee in the room.

the staff helped to ensure our surprise party went ahead without problems. all staff members were consistently happy to help, and nothing was too much trouble for them. the food during meal times and the buffet for the party was delicious! we brought our dog, and he was made welcome.
the wifi was terrible, so i could not take business calls from my room or even from the restaurant.
