christmas decorations cozy lounge cold room difficult door
I enjoyed the fantastic Christmas decorations. Joe greeted us warmly and took us to a cozy lounge with a fire, very cute. The food was superb. I particularly enjoyed the traditional Scottish full breakfast (the tattie scones were delicious!).
Our room could have been warmer when we arrived. It took hours for the room to heat up, not ideal. The front door was difficult to lock and unlock. (This made me a little nervous!)

I found the staff very attentive. They addressed all needs promptly. The food was delicious. I enjoyed the freshness. The premises were very well maintained.

decent stay, room for improvement
noisy car park sea view
i booked a lodge and the location was a letdown. i was promised a sea view, but my lodge overlooked a busy, noisy car park. every morning i was woke up early by cars arriving on the gravel drive. it made it difficult to get a peaceful start to the day.

cozy feel comfortable beds modern design friendly staff
the lodge had a cozy feel with comfortable beds and a fresh, modern design. i especially liked that it included both a bath and a shower. the restaurant was good, and i found the staff to be friendly. the space in the lodge was ample for our needs.
the room was not particularly large and felt a bit crowded because of all the furniture.
