adequate stay
great food easy access uncomfortable bed slow service
the staff at the restaurant were very good, and the food tasted great. the room provided basic necessities for sleeping. the location offers convenient access to both motorways and rail links. it was useful to leave my car there and take the train to edinburgh.
The bed was not very comfortable because it was two single beds joined together. i waited a long time for a burger at lunch. The order was not put in.

I received a warm welcome from the receptionist. My room was quiet, clean. The chambermaid kindly provided an extra warm bed spread. The location was good. The hotel has a car park.

The staff was so helpful and friendly, i was impressed. the room was lovely. The bed was huge, which i really liked. the parking situation was easy. A huge plus!
The extractor fan in the bathroom wasn't working, so the mirror got steamed up. i had food poisoning, i guess, from the friday evening meal. Not having the extractor fan was missed. i wasn't told when i booked that i should make restaurant reservations. The restaurant was fully booked on friday and saturday.

The staff was genuinely happy to assist me. I found them pleasant. The hotel offered convenient access to nearby services, I appreciated this a lot. The restaurant food tasted delicious. The menu included many options.
The mattress felt somewhat thin. This impacted my sleep quality a little.

helpful staff central location old chair paint spots
The staff was helpful and found a room for my business meeting. The location was also central with many things to do nearby.
The chair in my room looked old. The bathroom floor had some paint spots that were easy to remove.
