Really good Accessibility and Convenient Location
accessible room great transport hotel reception
the accessible room was very good it seemed designed with disabled users in mind. my partner affirmed it was the best accessible room she has ever experienced. the location provides great transport links just off the a1.
i found no staff present at the hotel reception upon arrival so i had to check in at the restaurant across the car park.

the hotel benefits from its position near the a1 offering convenient access. asda and mcdonald's are located next door providing ease for quick necessities. it is also within easy reach of local golf courses.

romantic getaway
seamless check-in peaceful atmosphere comfortable bath
the seamless check-in process was a lovely start. the peaceful atmosphere, away from the pub, ensured tranquility. the room included a nice bathroom and a comfortable bath.
The keycard failed initially. it required reprogramming, causing a slight inconvenience. the shower gel quality was quite poor. Thankfully, asda was nearby.

Great Hotel with Excellent Staff and Food!!!

The check-in and check-out processes were quick. I got a ground floor room. Level access was very useful. The hotel staff and pub staff were AMAZING. They paid close attention to my food allergies.
The hotel felt more like a motel than a traditional hotel, since the rooms were located across the car park from the main pub building.

The location is great. It is next to a main road, and it is a short walk to the centre. A supermarket is also nearby, as is the train station with fast links to Edinburgh.

Free WiFi is available in the rooms, convenient. The room has tea facilities and a television. I also noticed that there are family rooms available for those who are travelling with children.

The breakfast was excellent. Everything tasted freshly cooked. The dinner was also delicious with adjustments made to suit any requests. The restaurant offers a nice atmosphere for families or couples.

The staff were friendly and helpful at check-in. Staff were also very helpful at the bar when I ordered drinks.
