the breakfast included a diverse menu with freshly cooked items. the staff members were consistently friendly and helpful, a significant benefit. the train station is within a manageable fifteen minute walk, offering convenient access to edinburgh. i also appreciated the good selection and quality of food in the evening menu.

i noticed that the room could benefit from more diligent maintenance. some areas was a bit worn, which slightly detracted from the otherwise pleasant atmosphere.

the staff was very friendly and helpful! food at both dinner and breakfast was delicious. the room was comfortable and clean. i would stay again.

The room was far too hot. The inn and cleaner opened the window. i had to keep this open all night. the source of the heat was a calorifier, it pumped out endless heat into the wee vestibule before entering the bedroom.
