charming stay near kielder water
great locationaccomodating staffexcellent foodmeal service
i found the location great, near the reservoir. the staff seemed very accomodating. they even brought my evening meal forward due to a visit i had planned to the observatory. the food was excellent both for evening meal also breakfast.
the rooms felt a little small. moving around became a small challenge.

the food was amazing!!! i really loved the cheese souffle and spiced parsnip soup. the breakfast was also the best of my holiday. every single person i met was warm and friendly.
the double bed was very small, but it did not affect my sleep.

the noise insulation was non existent , i could hear every conversation and footstep from other rooms. additionally , the shower temperature fluctuated wildly when other guests used water .

The hot water was too hot. I could not turn the radiator off in May, so the room was uncomfortably hot all night. Breakfast was pre-ordered, but items were missing from it.
