charming getaway

I stayed three nights. i had a FABULOUS room with a steam shower. i especially enjoyed the wine safari. The owner, tom, is a true host. the restaurant had great service. i liked the focus on quality food and drink.

my room did NOT have a bathroom door. the towel rail was inside the room. it was on all night during hot weather.

the hotel sits in the perthshire hills. five munros are nearby for baggers. i took beautiful walks around the loch, despite the rain. it is a very nice and peaceful place.

charmed by the warmth

The warmest welcome charmed me upon arrival. i seemed like i was visiting a family home (how rare is that?). the food was very nice. Everything seems to have a story, from the toiletries to the scones. breakfast, especially, left a lasting impression.

the room was lovely, but i noticed some noise from people walking around upstairs. this became slightly disruptive at times. i feel a possible solution is soundproofing the floors for a better experience.

the location was fine, right in the heart of the countryside. our room was very clean and spacious. the staff was helpful and friendly, attending to our needs promptly. the breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options!!!

the wi-fi signal was a bit weak in certain areas of the hotel.
