my stay felt very special because of attentive staff. the gardens provided quiet walks perfect for gentle reflection. i found the outdoor sauna was amazing nestled among the trees, a true escape. every moment i spent at the hotel reminded me of a breath of fresh air, so calm.
i felt the wardrobe had little hanging space. my clothes didn't fit comfortably. i wanted more room for my belongings.

kind touchfluffy robesfaulty sink
the classic king room was quite large, with a spacious and luxurious feel to it. i found a bottle of wine and some chocolates in my room when i arrived.. it was a very kind touch! i also appreciated the fluffy robes and slippers provided.
the light in the wardrobe would not turn off all night, i think the door would not close properly. i felt the maintenance could have been better, as the sink in my room also did not drain correctly.

breakfast had a great selection with freshly cooked hot dishes available to order. dinner in the ember restaurant was nice, with a good atmosphere and quality ingredients, with a range of options to suit different tastes.

the grounds are beautiful for a walk, well maintained, and provide a tranquil environment. the hotel is large and offers a lot of space to admire the nature around the hotel. it's a great escape from the hustle.

the rooms were clean and well maintained and that was certainly appreciated.
I had an issue with the service at the bar. i asked for a specific type of whiskey, but the bartender seemed unsure. i ended up choosing something else. the hotel gym also needs updating. Much of the equipment seemed quite old and basic.
