Excellent Family Reunion Venue

attentive staff swift requests perfect night

lisa was very attentive in meeting our requirements for the event. she provided regular plan updates. on the night staff checked everything was how we wanted it, minor requests to alter details were met swiftly. the manager, bar staff and reception staff ensured a perfect sentimental and fun night.

the hotel could do with a refresh, corridors are very dated and dark. the carpet was torn.

the setting was perfect for our family reunion (we had attendees from america, australia, belgium, and the uk). the location is convenient for accessing nearby attractions and provides a central meeting point.

the hotel has a heated outdoor swimming pool that was spotlessly clean. i noted the hotel shares pool access with two neighboring hotels, possibly limiting space during peak times.

thin walls outdated decor

i booked a standard double room for three nights. the room itself felt small, and the decor seemed outdated. the worst part was, the walls are so thin. i could hear conversations and noise from the neighboring rooms. it was difficult to sleep well.

The hotel location is GREAT. The staff were ALL polite and helpful. The beach is a short walk away!!!

The room was VERY small and had no safe box. I seemed like I was in a two star hotel. The spa is only available next door because there's the same owner.

non-functioning air conditioning indifferent staff

The room was clean. That was good.

I was disappointed by the air conditioning. it was not functioning well. The room was uncomfortably hot. the staff seemed indifferent when i mentioned it. I found that frustrating.

comprehensive breakfast sea view

The hotel offered a comprehensive breakfast. I found many choices available. The location provided sea views from the public outside areas, bar, restaurant, and pool area.

The room doors closed loudly. It was difficult to sleep as other guests went in and out frequently.

Really good Hotel Experience

friendly staff gorgeous food ideal temperature

The staff at the restaurant were notably great and friendly. The food was gorgeous. I tried different meals each time, from starters to puddings. The outdoor pool and the garden at the front were beautiful and well kept, and the pool temperature was ideal.

The corridors seemed a bit old and could use some refurbishment.

The room offered comfortable beds. I experienced a very light awakening each morning. The room was clean, illuminated, and airy! The location was quiet, though the parking was expensive.

I appreciated the location of the hotel overlooking the sea, yet it was still close to the city center. There was a lovely coast walk along the hilltop in both directions, whether to Southbourne or Sandbanks. The hotel had onsite parking, a plus.

The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were very nice. I also appreciated the very pleasant atmosphere in the hotel. I was impressed by the price of drinks considering it's a hotel overlooking the beach, though not all letters light up in the name at night.
