a balanced stay
good varietygreat poolexpensive foodisolated location
the breakfast had a good variety. the pool was also great. the room was super clean and well maintained.
food and drink were very expensive. the hotel's location felt quite isolated. the burger cost €22 and tasted bland. a pint of bulmer's cost €8.10.

The gym disappointed me. Many machines were in bad condition. most lockers lacked locks or doors! the staff seemed more interested in chatting than addressing these issues.

The pool was closed. It was due to a chemical problem. parking cost extra. I paid for it.

the room was too warm. a lot of noise came from both inside and outside the hotel. kids ran around without supervision until early morning at 1 am. the noise was a real problem.

The room was nice and spacious. The bed was lovely.
The gym disappointed me, it has gone downhill fast. many machines are in bad condition. most lockers lacked a lock or even a door. I feel the staff chatted at reception instead of addressing these issues.
