lovely, well-kept hotel

warm greeting prompt check-in clean room quiet space
the staff greeted me warmly upon arrival and promptly handled check-in. the room was clean, and i found it well kept. i enjoyed breakfast each morning , it offered a good selection of items. the spa provided a quiet space for relaxation , and i.
i noticed that the bar service was a bit slow during peak hours one evening.

bespoke treatment sensational job excellent food
i was glad i had a 90 minute spa treatment. kati was my therapist and she done a sensational job. it was the best bespoke treatment i have ever had. food was excellent.
the hotel rooms are lovely but perhaps too gorgeous.

warm welcome beautiful room constant noise drilling noise
The Baytree room was beautiful. The staff provided a warm welcome at reception, especially Jodie. Charlotte showed us to our room. It was a really nice gesture.
The noise was constant from arrival to departure. Drilling was happening directly beneath our room. I was not informed of this beforehand. I think they should have put us in a room on the opposite side of the hotel.

mixed feelings about this visit

terrible restaurant service forgotten main course
the breakfast buffet had a nice selection.
the service in the main restaurant needs serious improvement. once seated, the staff seemed to forget about me, and i had to chase them for everything. they completely forgot one person's main course (which is unacceptable), it arrived only after everyone else finished. i had to constantly ask them to order drinks, puddings, and coffee (it was very irritating).

great food amazing facilities dirty carpet small room
the staff made my weekend special for a birthday. the facilities are amazing. the food were also very nice. i am happy with how everything turn out to be.
my room was small and it felt very stuffy, the carpets were dirty. the wallpaper were also coming off the walls and i could see the paint work through the room flaking off. this makes me unconformable.

good menu sizeable portion attentive staff
I had the sunday menu. The range of choice was good. the food was good, and portions were sizeable. the service was better than almost all establishments i have visited. Staff catered well and dealt with things promptly.
