Reviews and Ratings
Feedback about The Chalk Hare, Royston, Hertfordshire - Acorn Pubs from previous guests about their experience.
i found easy free parking upon arrival. the room assigned (it was on the first floor) proved quite spacious. the breakfast impressed me with its quality and variety.
the room i occupied faced some noise issues during the night. i suspect proximity to a staff area contributed to doors slamming and clattering (it was quite disruptive). an eyemask was provided due to a bright green light on the room ceiling. the overall management looked somewhat lacking, i noted a certain lack of clear direction.
The staff was friendly and helpful . I found the provided ironing board and iron very useful for preparing my clothes. The coffee and tea making facilities in the room were also appreciated (a definite plus for early mornings).
I noticed limited tv channel options in my room, which led me to explore nearby pubs for evening entertainment.
Dining

The breakfast offered extensive choices and included all-inclusive options . I also had the chance to enjoy a lovely meal in the hotel, the food tasted delicious and was prepared with fresh ingredients.
