good stay overall
bright areagood curtains
the reception area felt bright and cute on arrival. the room had good blackout curtains which was great. i also found several sockets on the desk for plugging in devices which was useful.

Underwhelming Stay, Cleanliness Issues and Hidden Fees.

The room size was adequate for my needs during the one-night stay.
The cleanliness was seriously lacking. There was hair in the bathroom, and the surfaces felt dusty. I did not appreciate the unexpected £5 charge for overnight parking. The WiFi access also came with an extra fee, unacceptable in this day and age..

excessive chargecard payment
The car park charged £5. this seemed excessive for a hotel guest, especially with no barrier. i also found it difficult to pay. They only accepted card payments, this created bank charges.
