Excellent Stay!

The room had a double aspect, it was nicely decorated and furnished. A large bathroom with walk in shower was present. One window faced the river. The room proved quiet despite its location above the restaurant and facing the main road. The bed offered great comfort. The shower controls allowed precise adjustment of water flow and temperature.
I noticed some litter in the grounds. It could have been picked up.

The staff offered courteous and attentive service . Ann-Marie were pretty good too ensure our experience was enjoyable, providing really good assistance. The bar staff were consistently helpful and lovely.

The hotel restaurant provided good evening meals on-site. The breakfast was also superb, with a variety of options to suit different tastes. The pub downstairs was cozy and comfortable.

dirty bathroom floorunclean room
The room did not resemble the pictures I saw online. The bathroom floor had rice grains when I arrived! and the mirror light could not be turned off. I reported it, and the room was partially cleaned, but the bathroom remained not fully clean. Our room wasn't cleaned at all on the second day. The beds were left unmade. Tea and amenities weren't replenished.

i found the staff very helpful and friendly. my room was spacious and clean upon my arrival. the hotel location made it easy to see nearby attractions. it was a good base.
the squeaky doors in the corridor were a slight disturbance, though it's understandable in an older building.

the location was great for walks. it was lovely being next to the water and boats. the hotel car park was great and free. i was able to stroll round to loch lomond shores shopping centre.
on arrival in the room, i immediately thought it was dark. it had been cleaned. however, my issue was the state of the walls. i have taken photos of the damp patches and wallpaper hanging off. every side had damp patches.

Breakfast WAS good with a decent selection. The hotel has parking with ample space. i found the location ideal.
My room was not cleaned properly on arrival. I noticed mould on the windows and the room felt dank. i was disappointed with the room condition.
