lovely historic gem!
historic charm spacious suite fresh eggs
I loved how the hotel kept its historic charm. The building felt authentic. my room, the suite, was very spacious and clean. the breakfast included fresh eggs made to order. It was amazing!!!

understaffed breakfast no extra amenities
the location was acceptable it was near the cathedral
the breakfast service felt understaffed there was often a wait for things like coffee the room was also quite cold making it uncomfortable to relax without extra layers there were no extra amenities in the bathroom like a toothbrush.

great location walkable area restored hotel constant sound noisy air_conditioning poor blackout
The location was fantastic near the older part of the city. It was a very walkable area. Breakfast each morning was really good. The hotel had been beautifully restored.
I found constant humming. The air conditioning was old and made a lot of noise. The darkening of the room was disappointing. There was also glass in the bathroom that I could not darken.

somewhat underwhelming stay
understaffed breakfast limited reception
the breakfast setup felt understaffed, i noticed. it was difficult to get assistance when needed. the lack of a proper 24-hour reception also seemed unusual for a hotel claiming a 4-star rating. this made it inconvenient to address issues or get assistance late in the evening (especially since i wasn't familiar with the area).
