old tv missing door lock

the location was acceptable. it allowed short walks to the city center.

The tv was far from a flat screen as advertised. there was no lock on the room door. This felt insecure.

the room had tea and coffee making facilities. fresh milk was available in the fridge (convenient for a quick cuppa).

i chose this room specifically because it had a sea view. upon arrival, scaffolding covered the front of the hotel. this scaffolding obstructed the view i booked.

family room modern bathroom friendly staff fresh milk scaffolding obstruction no prior notice nonchalant attitude

We had a family room bathroom for our stay. the staff were very friendly, going above and beyond to help us. i especially appreciated the fresh milk provided. It was a bonus for my first cup of tea in the morning!!!

we specifically chose this room for the sea view, however, scaffolding covered the front of the hotel. the owner said, 'well it doesn't really spoil the view and we're used to it'. i felt we should have been informed prior to our arrival so that we had the option to cancel.
