I completely adored the location right on the main square! the room had such a luxurious feel, especially considering the price. the staff was awesome. They really were really good too help me out with directions and recommendations (i love asking locals!).
The tv in my room was a bit temperamental. It kept cutting out at the worst moments!

the hotel had great facilities. i noticed a business center with computers and printers available. a concierge service was present in the lobby to assist with travel arrangements and recommendations, very useful.

The cooked breakfast was cold. The service was poor. i expected better for the price i paid though there were no bar facilities. the staff was slow during breakfast. i found the experience quite disappointing considering the hotel's reputation.

The front desk was often unattended, and the staff didn't seem particularly helpful (it seemed like pulling teeth to get any assistance). breakfast was a real letdown. The food was mediocre at best, and on a couple of mornings, items were missing altogether. the room itself felt a bit tired. It could use some updates, especially the bathroom fixtures. i also noticed that the soundproofing wasn't great. I could hear noise from the square quite clearly, even late into the night.

I really enjoyed the location. It was central. the provided picnic bag was convenient when i had an early tour. It included plenty of food for both breakfast and lunch. the front desk staff were helpful and attentive, they gave assistance when needed.
