Underwhelming experience

The lack of air conditioning really affected my sleep. I was unable to open a windows more than a crack, so the room felt stuffy. The camp bed at the foot of our bed seemed unnecessary and took up space. upon arrival, I learned I could not eat at the restaurant because there was a wedding. That was not a great start to the stay.

i stayed in a lodge room. it was a great size. the hotel has pleasant garden areas. i had easy access to the garden through double doors on the ground floor.

the fire alarm went off late in the evening. the alarm was false. it took the staff a long time to stop it.

the suite was quiet. it had a nice garden view from the living area. the king bed was comfortable. the cooked breakfast was delicious and staff were quick.

i found the reception experience lacking. the receptionist seemed off-hand. i was asked to wait about 15 minutes. she was busy on the computer and this did not create a good first impression.
