Absolutely Fine Historic Hotel

central location helpful staff clean environment amazing design

I was thrilled with the location. The hotel is very close to many attractions. I found a wonderful restaurant just around the corner. The staff were helpful with directions and recommendations. The hotel offers a wonderful atmosphere with a very high level of service. The hotel provides a clean and well kept environment. I appreciated the attention to detail throughout the hotel. The design is amazing, incorporating modern elements into a historical building.

The minibar prices felt a little steep compared to nearby shops.

mixed feelings about this stay

small room unrequested wake-up call

The location was acceptable. It was pretty central.

I encountered a few issues. The room i booked was quite small, it felt cramped. also, there was this wake-up call i never requested. It startled me awake at 7 a.m. on saturday, i reported it, but i never received any follow-up or explanation, pretty annoying.

decent stay, some issues

perfect location great detail original furniture poor service long wait ugly picture

the location of the hotel was perfect. it allowed me to explore many historical sites without any hassle. the room had furniture with great attention to detail, very original.

The service was poor. It took ages for the ordered coffee to arrive. no one took our order for a very long time! the room decor was not to my taste. It was awful, with an ugly picture on the wall.
