characterful stay with some drawbacks

on-site dining porter service

i did appreciate the historic building, but a few things were disappointing. the absence of on-site dining was noticeable. additionally, the lack of certain amenities like a porter service felt lacking for a hotel of this supposed standard. i had to manage my own luggage, a bit challenging given my age.

the room was gorgeous and the soaps smelled fabulous. the bed was huge and comfortable. the location was fab, a real treat

The hotel did not offer breakfast. This was a surprise to me. the hotel also didn't have a laundry service. they didn't even have umbrellas available when it rained

clean room great location porter absence bad shoulder

my room was clean and beautiful the building was wonderful. the beds were excelent

there was no porter to carry my baggage and the receptionist did not offer assistance. i have a bad shoulder this was not a great start. there was no senior management visible. i expected more for the price

I loved the room. It reminded me of a cozy apartment. the design was beautiful, and the space felt generous. it had everything i needed, i honestly didn't feel like going out. i highly recommend it for a relaxing, homely stay.

no catering facilities were available at the hotel. it was like staying in an air b & b hotel without normal hotel support.

Excellent Location and Historical Charm

The room was very spacious, well-decorated, and clean. I appreciated the coffee machine in the room. It was very convenient. Staff were gentle and assisted me with my luggage. The mattress was comfortable. I slept very well.

There was no on-site parking. Nearby parking was expensive.

The location was perfect! though the parking was expensive. The hotel is near everything. It is very easy to walk to main attractions. Many shops and restaurants are located nearby.
