characterful stay with some drawbacks

on-site diningporter service

i did appreciate the historic building, but a few things were disappointing. the absence of on-site dining was noticeable. additionally, the lack of certain amenities like a porter service felt lacking for a hotel of this supposed standard. i had to manage my own luggage, a bit challenging given my age.

The room was very spacious, well-decorated, and clean. I appreciated the coffee machine in the room. It was very convenient. Staff were gentle and assisted me with my luggage. The mattress was comfortable. I slept very well.

There was no on-site parking. Nearby parking was expensive.
