Quiet getaway

The staff offered a warm welcome and great service. I had pre-dinner drinks by a log fire with my family. The team accommodated us for dinner and we enjoyed excellent meals and quality produce. My boys enjoyed the pool table and the rooms were VERY clean with great fittings.

I found the beds quite noisy. I could hear every movement from other rooms, impacting sleep quality. This was an issue considering sleep is a priority for me after traveling.

The breakfast was amazing.. i especially loved the fresh eggs and locally sourced bacon. the room was super clean with crisp linens and a very comfortable bed. the staff were helpful. They even carried my bags to the room upon arrival.

the hairdryer wire was a bit short and didn't quite reach the mirror easily.

The staff carried our bags to the room upon arrival.

The restaurant menu selection was poor and expensive. The egg and asparagus starter consisted of two small spears cut in half. It seemed ridiculous for the price.
