parking was available opposite the hotel. the hotel paid towards the parking fee. the room was a good size, and it included standard tea and coffee facilities and an iron. breakfast was amazing, with freshly cooked items, pastries, toast, and fruit.

a positively charming stay
high service really good staff hidden oasis
The staff helped me when i fell ill. they really were pretty good. My husband forgot some clothes on a previous trip, but the staff looked after them till i arrived three months later. the level of service is just Really good throughout the hotel.
i booked this hotel because it listed a sauna and steam room. i had to pay extra for using those facilities, even though it was listed as included. it was like a total RIP-off.

I was greeted with such kindness by the staff. They were always willing to help. Elsie was particularly polite, AND she ensured i was very comfortable. this shows dedication to guest well-being.

the location is really convenient, a short walk from east station. that gives you great access to gatwick, and central london too. plus, there's a twenty four hour bus service nearby, route 119.

The breakfast IS great, it had plenty of options. there was a chef available to prepare eggs just how you liked them. i enjoyed a delicious omelette each morning. It was great.

The rooms are really well-appointed and comfortable. they include tea and coffee making facilities, and television too. air conditioning helped regulate the temperature well. It had a shower and bath.

helpful staff 24 hour gym quick resolution tired corridors breakfast variety high parking fee
The staff was friendly and helpful (especially at reception). I appreciated the quick resolution of a minor issue with my room. The 24-hour gym access was also a convenient feature for my schedule.
The corridors showed signs of wear and tear. I noticed the breakfast buffet lacked a wide variety of options. The parking fee of £15 per night felt a bit steep, I thought.

breakfast buffet fresh fruit limited gym check-in handling
the breakfast buffet had a wide selection including fresh fruit i also appreciated the mini fridge in the room it was quite useful. the bathroom was also lovely it was spacious. the beds were very comfortable
the gym's facilities seemed limited the weights did not go above 20kg. the reception staff's handling of my check-in was not ideal the gentleman wanted me to pay for three nights even after i was staying one night.
