spacious room modern decor cozy bar average food meal cost tip charge

The room was lovely and spacious. It featured fresh, modern decor. The bathroom included a tub! i also enjoyed drinks in the cozy main bar. The reception staff were friendly, I found.

The food was not quite as good as I expected. It was just okay. I also realized that you only get a percentage of the cost of your evening meal when on half board. i expected to pay extra if I wanted two or three courses. My bill included a 12 per cent tip on each meal

a balanced stay

pleasant staff good breakfast tea making facilities night roadworks room move little reaction

the staff were very pleasant. i enjoyed the very good breakfast. my room was super clean and cozy with tea and coffee making facilities.

roadworks proceeded for the best part of the night, unfortunately. i found out about it on the day. asking for a move on the night was met with a shrug and little else.

The room overlooked the river. It was blissfully quiet. The breakfast was excellent. The bedding was very smooth.

The station car park cost extra. I found only one bathrobe in the wardrobe. There was no body lotion in the container.

patrick warmly welcomed us. he was very attentive. our room was quirky and very clean. the bed was super comfy too..

the telephone never worked in my room. i reported it but it did not get fixed. also, the bathroom mirror ceiling light was not working on arrival.

adequate stay at the inn

convenient location comfortable bed breakfast buffet slow service

the location was certainly convenient. it was easy to access everything (i could walk to most places i needed to visit). the bed and linen were also comfortable. i slept well each night.

the breakfast buffet was disappointing (it just didn't match the price point). friends requested specific preparation for their cooked breakfast items. they had to ask again, a bit frustrating.

faulty remote absent kettle

The tv remote didn't work, and i struggled to get the toilet to flush properly. also, there was no kettle in the room. I really wanted a hot drink. i found this quite annoying. we loved the pool, but the view was not so amazing!
