grateful short break

delicious omelettefriendly staffclean roomcomfortable accommodation
the breakfast was lovely (i especially enjoyed the omelette). it was always delicious and perfectly cooked. the staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful here. the room was comfortable and clean, which i appreciated after a long day exploring the area.
the table was a little sticky, but it wasn't a big deal.

the inn is in a lovely picturesque location. it features a gorgeous garden. it is also well located for walks and generally enjoying the countryside. free parking is available.

the staff were warm and cute. shelly and her team looked after us really well. the staff arranged a pre-made lunch for us to take for our day on the water. i found that very thoughtful.

minor issues detracted from the stay

dust problembathroom door
i found that the bathroom was not as clean as it should be. there was dust in several spots. the bathroom door also had trouble closing. these small things negatively impacted my experience.

non-working tvcurdled milk
the tv did not work the radio was not working either i found curdled milk in the fridge that was disappointing the king bed was actually two twin mattresses pushed together that was not very comfortable
