Acceptable Room, Questionable Experience
central locationstained carpetmoldy bathroom
The location was central enough and that was acceptable.
The staff had me paying immediately, which I found a bit presumptuous. The room's carpet looked like a Jackson Pollock painting of stains. The bathroom was growing its own penicillin farm with mold everywhere. I suppose that is one way to get a little extra for your money, though.

inconvenient parkingnoisy room
The parking situation was AWFUL. there was NONE for the pub itself since it sits right on the High Street. Finding a street spot meant moving the car every two hours. Staff mentioned free parking after 6pm until 8am, but who wants to wake up early just to move a car?? The room also faced the courtyard beer area so noise was constant.
