the location was SUPERB, with great views of the river. i found a well-appointed room provided ample space for working and relaxing. the restaurant offersed excellent food, both for breakfast and dinner. the staff was friendly and helpful .

i noticed slight wear and tear on the carpets in the staircase, it could use some upgrading.

the room featured a bath plus a separate shower, BOTH clean and functional. A tea tray was available, it included a good selection of teas and coffee. The bed WAS quite comfortable, ensuring a good night's rest.

the location is near a public car park and within walking distance to the town. the river severn is just in front of the inn. we could view the river from our room. the walk along the river was good.

The bed was creaky. every time we turned over it made a noise. i did not have a very good nights sleep. the room was somewhat tired. It needs a bit of tlc. it's an old building, but the accommodation needs more love.
