i loved how the staff were so cute and hard working. the food was cooked to a high standard, its very nice. i also found fresh milk and water from the fridge on the landing, that was very convinient.
i did think it was too expensive for just a pub. it's trying to be something it cannot be, it seems to me. its a nice local pub in a pretty location, but the price tag is very high.

the staff readily accommodated my request to move my dinner reservation earlier. breakfast service in my room was arranged promptly as well. the room had a huge bed, and i found the food really good.
carpets leading up the stairs looked worn and stained. the towels seemed a bit grey. paint needed touching up in places.

The staff was wonderful and were great. Bedrooms are beautifully designed and clean. I found good facilities for fresh milk, tea & coffee. The breakfast tasted really good.
The room was not very comfortable. I kept banging my head against low beams. The shower had low pressure at times, and the room was too hot.
