four poster bedbig bathtough meatfrozen potatoes
the room was clean it had a four poster bed i liked the big bath and a seperate shower were available the breakfast was really good the waitress was excellent
the meat was tough we struggled to cut or chew it the potatoes were obviously frozen and uneatable i thought the cauli cheese was like baby food with a vile yellow sauce i was disappointed with the tiny starter of just one arancini ball

The breakfast was really excellent. I enjoyed the good choice and how well it was prepared. i also had two evening meals in the restaurant. The menu offered very good choices. the food was beautifully cooked and presented, a real treat!
the mattress wasn't very good, and the linen felt a bit cheap. it was an unseasonably chilly evening, yet there was no heating available. i also noticed a lack of a tooth mug in the bathroom.

My fabulous room was spacious with a large bathroom. The bath was an excellent feature. i really enjoyed the quality bedding, towels and toiletries and everything was super clean.

The hotel has lovely grounds and plenty of parking. I really liked the beautiful setting. the bar and restaurant were also very nice. I found the hotel maintained a country house feel.

The breakfast included freshly cooked items and offered an excellent choice.
The furniture in my room was damaged. This made the room look quite tatty. The mattress was also uncomfortable.
