the rooms were lovely, so i guess that's something.

I booked a king suite, but it had two twins shoved together. Not exactly palatial. the sink held dirty water, and the plug was stuck, so i told someone, but it stayed like that all night. i even had to fish the plug out myself... charming

The staff was mostly helpful and very kind! The coffee was amazing. The newly refurbished bedrooms looked great! The cleanliness was superb!

I found the room to be up a tiny staircase through about 4 doors. This made it awkward when carrying bags.

the staff allowed us to check in earlier than the scheduled time after only a short notice this was convenient. the rooms were very clean and well-kept. breakfast and dinner offered a great choice with meals excellently prepared and served by friendly staff there were also cask ales and a pleasant atmosphere.

the location had a lovely village feel breakfast included amazing egg benedict it was the best i've ever tasted. the staff was helpful and friendly i had a lovely short stay. the hotel provided shampoo shower gel and conditioner for a perfect experience

the room was up a tiny staircase i had to go through several doors carrying luggage this was awkward. the hotel charged a fee to use the room for a short time before official check-in that seemed too expensive
