loud music unsafe staircase
The noise at night was a problem. I could hear music from the pub below for a long time. It was very loud. the staircase outside was not in good shape, and it felt unsafe, it could use some maintenance.

friendly staff helpful manager easy access
The staff were lovely and friendly. I felt very welcome, it was easy to get to the hotel. chris, the manager, was helpful, he made a deal i couldn't refuse and i was grateful for that, we loved the helpful staff.
The room was quite basic. A bit like a grandma's bedroom, though it worked for me for the duration.

The location offered convenient access to nearby shops. The bathroom featured ample space. I found the room to be quite WARM and cosy, perfect for rest. The staff arranged deliveries, assisting with local needs.
The shower was hot, making temperature adjustment difficult.

spacious room airy room friendly staff revolting odour broken curtain broken shelf
the room was spacious. it was also light and airy. the staff was cute and friendly. residents parking was available (this helped a lot).
the room had a revolting odour. the curtain rail looked like it was ready to fall down. the glass bathroom shelf looked ready to fall down as well.
