Acceptable Stay with Noise Issues

loud music narrow corridor

The staff were great. I found them very helpful .

My room was above the bar, and the loud music went on until 11 PM. It was difficult to relax. getting to the room with luggage proved tricky because of multiple doors and narrow corridors. I'm not even old, but it was still a pain.

friendly reception comfortable beds ideal location

the reception proved very friendly. i found the beds comfortable. there was a lovely en-suite bathroom, it was great. the location suited me perfectly and parking was in a car park just across the road.

black mould dated decor

The staff were friendly, and my room was clean.

The noise from the shower was excessive. It made a screeching sound, and there was black mould present on the tiles. The décor seemed RATHER dated.

helpful staff large bedroom steep stairs tiny room

I appreciateD the helpful staff. The large bedroom included a fan. I needed that fan. The king size bed AND the single bed were very comfortable.

I was in an attic room and it was up two flights of VERY steep stairs. The room felt tiny. I think someone staying a full week needs a room with a wardrobe.
